Rotherham BMX is the only BMX track of its size in Rotherham and surrounding area. It was built in 2001 and has created a long legacy of BMX riders in Rotherham ever since.
The Track is maintained exclusively by volunteers, and funded by YOUR donations and those of local businesses. We do not receive any council funding for track maintenance or development we operate purely on the good will of our local community and riders.
Rotherham Improvements 2022 – 2023
Your donations foremost will go towards track maintenance leading up to the 2022 – 23 season.
To maintain the track per year requires approx. 5- 10 K depending on damage that is sustained through wear and tear.
Additional Funding
Should we receive any additional funding we plan to use it to :
- Purchase safety loan equipment i.e.; helmets & elbow pads for local young people that do not have their own , to be used on a loan basis
- take local young riders to regional and national race environments to broaden their experiences and develop their riding skills and opportunities:
