Our History
The BMX track was established back in 2001 by Carole Foster in a voluntary capacity as a community member working closely with the Youth Service, at that time the Centre Manager Jeanette Read. The ethos behind the facility was to build a safe environment for young people and the community members to participate in cycling and BMX racing
The facility is a British Cycling affiliated club which allows its members to participate in BMX / MTB races at a club, regional and national level with the possibility of international and worlds depending upon the riders national series ranking.
